Giles 202 – A New Era in Model Aircraft Design
The Giles 202 is the first model in the FlexFoam Series, introducing a completely new approach to materials and construction. At first glance, FlexFoam resembles Depron, but its characteristics are far superior — it's significantly tougher and more durable. The smooth surface allows for much deeper and more vivid printing compared to traditional EPP, although the material is approximately 20% heavier.
The model is extremely robust and feels solid in the hand. However, unlike EPP kits, building the Giles is not as straightforward, so we don’t recommend it for complete beginners. For assembling the main parts, we strongly suggest using UHU Por, as it bonds much better to the smooth surface than CA glue. On the other hand, carbon reinforcements should be installed using CA glue for maximum strength.
The entire structure is made from 3mm FlexFoam and reinforced with carbon spars. Thanks to its signature swept wings, the Giles delivers exceptionally stable flight characteristics, even in windy conditions, while maintaining a high degree of agility and responsiveness.
The Giles 202 is the perfect choice for more experienced pilots seeking a combination of great looks, durability, and outstanding flight performance.
