The Kavan C14 + 80W has been designed to provide everything you need for charging "under one roof", including the power supply, and with simple operation. Kavan C14 + allows charging and discharging of common types of cells (NiCd, NiMH, LiPo, LiHV, Li-ion, LiFe, Pb), in addition it is equipped with a built-in six-channel balancer, which ensures very safe and comfortable charging of lithium batteries. Apart from higher power, it differs from conventional 50W chargers by really intelligent software, which enables functions hitherto common in "machines" of much higher price categories:
- setting the end voltage for charging and discharging for lithium (allows more gentle charging, which pilots like, or, conversely, brutal overcharging, which is held by "toy cars") and lead-acid batteries
- measurement of total voltage and voltage of individual cells (for lithium batteries) even outside charging / discharging
- measurement of internal resistance of individual cells (for lithium batteries)
- power supply mode with adjustable voltage limitation (max. 6 A / 80 W)
- Smart battery charging mode (lithium batteries with built-in protection electronics
